All TAK collars and leads are produced using bridle leather, Our leather is hand cut and prepared using select grade steer hides. All of our products are hand stitched by leather craftsmen.  TAK products only use the finest grade solid brass hardware available. To finish the process the leather is then hand rubbed,  this softens the edges of the leather and draws the natural oils out producing an elegant soft to the touch finish.

WHY DO WE ONLY USE EQUINE GRADE LEATHER?

Having been an equestrian for most of my life I have handled bridle leather day in and day out,  a good quality bridle will last a life time,  equestrian gear is really put to the test in all kinds of weather and conditions, rain, mud, sweat, dust, heat to name a few.  Bridle leather is the best quality leather available, it is known for its hard wearing properties yet is soft to the touch for both the dog and its handler,  It also wears better with age and is less likely to crack and break giving you a superior product that should last the lifetime of your beloved pet.
